Elijah is an interdisciplinary performing artist working and living on the unceded ancestral territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, what is coloquialy known as Vancouver, BC, Canada. Elijah is working towards his BFA from SFU in contemporary dance and is soon to complete his program with a minor in kinesiology.
Elijah has a deep passion for exploring movement in all forms and this drives his creative practice. His past creative works have explored the form of the human body, how light interacts with the performer, and social settings which bring people together. Elijah enjoys being in creation with others and working in many mediums, whether it be contemporary dance, performance theatre, motion capture, film/TV, or musicals.
As a performer, Elijah has had the pleasure of working with groups such as Theatre Under the Stars, Platform on Camera (Breanna English), Sawmill Motion Capture/ACM Siggraph (Sang Mah), Perelandra Project (current), and Royal City Musical Theatre, among others.
